The English Placement Test determines your placement in an English Composition course. Students are tested on their ability to demonstrate their knowledge of English grammar, English usage, and English sentence structure, as well as the ability to compose an organized and purposeful essay. Students also will be tested on their ability to write a coherent and well-composed essay which addresses a writing prompt.
